Tabitha (Tabs) Evans
Expert in Strategic Communications & Creative Direction
Tabs brings a strategic, creative lens to The Nonprofit Group, helping nonprofits clarify their message, strengthen engagement, and translate complex strategies into compelling, actionable communications. Her work sits at the intersection of creative strategy, marketing, and technology—ensuring that ideas don’t just sound good, but actually work.
Prior to joining The Nonprofit Group, Tabs served as Director of Communications and Technology for a Dallas-based nonprofit, where she led organization-wide messaging, digital strategy, and technology integration. This experience gives her a rare, inside understanding of how creative strategy must align with real-world nonprofit capacity, systems, and goals.
At The Nonprofit Group, Tabs collaborates closely with fundraising, systems, and leadership experts to ensure marketing and communications efforts are fully aligned with development strategy and organizational priorities. Her approach emphasizes clarity, cohesion, and execution—so creative work supports the bigger picture rather than operating in a silo.
Tabs is also the founder of Darling Creative Strategies, an affiliate firm that provides creative strategy and marketing support for nonprofits, small businesses, and startups. This dual role allows her to bring a broad perspective and hands-on experience to every engagement, strengthening the collective’s ability to solve problems creatively and strategically.
