Evan brings a deep passion for service and a sharp focus on systems, data, and operational efficiency to The Nonprofit Group. His work centers on helping nonprofits build strong development infrastructure—ensuring donor data, processes, and systems actively support fundraising and long-term sustainability.
Evan began his nonprofit journey through hands-on volunteer work and internships with organizations including Communities in Schools of North Texas, Downtown Fort Worth Inc., and Opening Doors Immigration Services, where he gained early experience in grant writing and development operations. He later earned a degree in nonprofit management from the University of North Texas, intentionally designed to prepare him for the complexities of nonprofit leadership and administration.
After graduation, Evan spent five years in the relocation industry, building a strong foundation in logistics, management, and process improvement—skills he now applies to nonprofit systems and development operations. In 2016, he brought this expertise to Grad Resources, where he led the implementation of Salesforce and transformed more than 25 years of relationship data into a functional, strategic development database. He also supported the launch and coaching of Grad Resources’ satellite development office in Nebraska.
Throughout his career, Evan has supported donor engagement at every level, from intimate donor briefings to large-scale fundraising events, including The Summit, Grad Resources’ flagship annual fundraiser. Today, he is committed to helping nonprofits strengthen their internal systems so fundraising, strategy, and relationships work together seamlessly.
